The WERA Motorcycle Roadracing Pirelli Sportsman Series kicked off February 7/8, at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway in Talladega, Alabama. This was the 2009 Season Opener for the Southeast and Mid-Central Region there were many riders who have been off since the Grand National Finals in October of 2008.
